Victorian Institute of Sport scholarship holder Elena Galiabovitch said is was "such a huge honour" to be chosen by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to carry the Olympic flag at the opening ceremony in Tokyo. As well as a shooting athlete, Galiabovitch is also a doctor who has been heavily involved in the fight against COVID-19 in Australia over the past 18 months.
