Aerial Skiing Program Recruitment

The VIS Aerial Skiing Program is now recruiting retired female gymnasts between the ages of 15-17 years old, you must be level 8 or above with a strong desire to pursue a high performance sporting career that can provide the opportunity to compete at the highest international level including the Olympic Games.

The VIS program has a strong history of producing world cup champions, Olympic medalists and world champions for more than 20 years including Lydia Lassila, Alisa Camplin, Jacqui Cooper, Laura Peel, David Morris and Danielle Scott.

No skiing experience is necessary, your acrobatic skills and physical condition will be assessed along with your work ethic and desire for success. Athletes from all states are eligible to apply.

You can come and try aerial skiing for yourself on April 18 or April 26.

This week for the first time in almost a year I had a speaking gig, in person, face to face. In the last year I have done a number of gigs but because of Covid-19 they have all be virtual. That’s okay but it certainly isn’t the same as being face to face with your audience. To be able to gage their body language, their facial expressions, or how much you have them interested in your story is so much easier when you are in the same room and not looking at them on a screen.
