The VIS Family is about to expand

Come and join our world class team

Exciting opportunities will soon be released to join the Victorian Institute of Sport (VIS) in a range of performance and performance support roles.

With a significant increase in funding from the Victorian Government we will be supporting an increasing number of athletes across a large range of sports. If you are experienced and passionate about working in an Institute we will be looking for you to join us to drive high performance programs and talent development, within our motto of “success in sport and life,” in partnership with National Sporting Organisations (NSOs) and State Sporting Associations (SSAs).

Our job is to prepare athletes for success at Olympic, Paralympic, Commonwealth Games’ and World Championships.  We have a proud history with a cavalcade of Australian heroes who have won the prestigious VIS Award of Excellence including; Catherine Freeman and Steve Moneghetti (Athletics), Danielle Woodward (Canoeing), the “Oarsome Foursome” and Kim Brennan (Rowing), Daniel Kowalski, Leisel Jones and Mack Horton (Swimming), Sarah Fitz-Gerald (Squash), Glenn Ashby (Sailing), Alisa Camplin and Lydia Lassila (Aerial Skiing), Cadel Evans (Cycling), Scotty James (Snowboard) and Paralympians Dylan Alcott (Wheelchair Tennis) and Carol Cooke (Para-Cycling). We will be looking to build on that through our contribution to Australia’s success at the 2032 Games in Brisbane.

We are committed to continuing to build a diverse, flexible and inclusive work environment. Alongside our competitive remuneration and high performance culture, you will be joining our team of world class coaches and staff working with Victoria’s best athletes.

Keep your eye on us as we roll out our range of new positions over the next few months.
