Cooke and Macdougall win silver

Victorian Institute of Sport’s Carol Cooke won dual silver at the 2019 UCI Para-Cycling Road World Cup campaign, while Hannah Macdougall placed second and third in her Time Trial and Road Race respectively.

The picturesque town of Corridonia, Italy, hosted the opening round of the 2019 season which promises to be hotly contested with valuable Paralympic Games qualification points on offer at each round.

Stuart Tripp finished 8^th in the men’s H5 road race and 12^th in the time trial.

Our VIS athletes will now head to Ostend, Belgium for the second round of the UCI Para World Cup next weekend.
