For the first time in our almost 30 year history, will open our doors to the general public, showcasing our world-class facilities, athletes and experts.

The inaugural VIS Open Day will give visitors rare access to the inner workings of the VIS’ headquarters at Lakeside Stadium in Albert Park.

When: Wednesday 10 April 2019

Where: VIS headquarters at Lakeside Stadium in Albert Park

Time: 10am - 2pm

The Open Day promises the complete inner-sanctum experience, and will include;

  • Interactive sessions and demonstrations from our high performance experts
  • Hands-on experiences in the Performance Labs with Sport Scientists
  • Interactive activities with elite VIS athletes
  • Practical cooking sessions with specialist Sports Dietitians
  • And much, much more!

Visitors will also rub shoulders with some of Australia’s best athletes, including Olympic Aerial Skiing Champion Lydia Lassila and Melbourne Vixens stars Kate Moloney and Caitlin Thwaites.
