Here’s a quick update on how our former VIS scholarship holders, Lydia Lassila (Survivor) and Bianca & Carla (The Block), are going in their respective reality TV programs.
Lydia Lassila
Lydia Lassila is a part of the ‘Champions Tribe’ and plays a critical role in how her tribe go in challenges. She appears to be well-liked by all her tribe members, and her muscle power is an asset in challenges. Perhaps as days go on, Lydia may start to be seen as a threat to the competition. But for now, she’s safe.

Bianca & Carla
Meanwhile, former Vixens netballers and VIS scholarship holders Bianca & Carla show that they’re serious contenders in Channel 9’s building and design program ‘The Block’. Last week they created an incredible main bathroom in their penthouse apartment, for which the judges gave a 25/30, putting them in second place by 0.5 of a mark.
