David Micheluzzi’s bold run in the British Amateur Championship came to an end in the quarter-finals at Dundee in Scotland last week.
The Australian lost his quarter-final match to Ireland’s Conor Purcell 3 and 2, falling behind at the fourth hole and wasn’t able to recover.
In other golf news at the British Amateur, Victorian Institute of Sport scholarship holders Kyle Michel and Blake Collyer qualified fifth in the stroke play. Michel shot rounds of 72 and 68, with Collyer recording rounds of 69 and 71 to tie the pair at 140 for T5.
