In Oceana Mackenzie’s first Sport Climbing World Cup she certainly did herself and the VIS proud, making the semi-finals in a tight competition in Hachioji, Tokyo.
Mackenzie was ‘happy’ with the result and is looking forward to her next challenge.
“My first Boulder World Cup was a great experience! I’m so happy that I made semis and can’t wait to train for my next comp - World Youth Champs” She said.
Mackenzie will now set her sights to the World Youth Champs held from August 7-9.
