Victorian Institute of Sport golfer, Stephanie Bunque, will make her debut for Australia after being selected in the Australia’s Queen Sirikit Cup team.
The 20-year-old recently won the Victorian Amateur Championship, expressing her jubilation on being named in the team which will tee off in Thailand in May.
“I feel beyond excited and grateful to be able to represent my country and play against the elite females in the Asia-Pacific region,” Bunque said.
“It's been a goal of mine to be selected for this team for a while and I'm so happy that I've been given this opportunity to play this year.”
