The Department of Health and Human Services is seeking expressions of interest from interested and qualified individuals for appointment to the position of Chair of the VIS.
Candidates should have a strong appreciation of the opportunities and challenges associated with high performance sport. They should also have professional skills, commercial acumen and governance experience, while demonstrating a strong understanding of what athletes need from the VIS.

This is a voluntary, part-time position which does not attract any remuneration. The appointee may, however, be reimbursed for travelling and other expenses incurred by them in attending meetings of the directors and other relevant meetings.
Selection Criteria and Checks
Expressions of interest will be assessed against the criteria outlined in the relevant position description.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo probity checks, including a national police check. They will also be required to declare relevant private interests and any potential conflicts of interest.
