VIS snowboarder, Scotty James, opened his season at Copper Mountain for the start of the World Cup series, over the weekend.
Qualification was smooth sailing, with James performing a near perfect 97.00 second run to progress with the highest score of the day.
After topping the qualification heats, he was unable to reproduce his near perfect scores in the final , finishing with a best total of 38.75 to place 9th.
James will now turn his attention to the Dew Tour event in Breckenridge, Colorado later this week.
