Bunque wins Port Phillip Amateur

VIS golfer, Stephanie Bunque has won the 2017 Port Phillip Women’s Amateur title following a final round 72-hole Championship that played at Kingston Heath on the weekend.

In what was an exciting finale, the Championship was decided by a sudden-death play-off.

20-year-old Bunque outlasted Stephani Kyriacou after both players had tied on a four-round total of nine-under 285. Bunque battled to the end with Stephani Kryiacou, with both closing with one-over 75’s to see the play-off eventuate.

In the Men's Championship, David Micheluzzi placed second with a 72-hole total of nine-under 281.
