Three Melbourne Vixens stars have been named in the Australian Diamonds Quad Series side, following impressive performances on the international stage over the past year.
VIS scholarship holders Liz Watson, Jo Weston and Kate Moloney were named in the 14-athlete side, which will head to London and Johannesburg for the Quad Series in January 2018.
Diamonds Head Coach, Lisa Alexander, said that the tour would be the last opportunity for players to put their best game forward before Commonwealth Games selection.
“The selectors and I are ensuring all options are explored prior to selection of the Commonwealth Games team in February, hence the changes from our Constellation Cup team, and continuing our focus on the high performance process.” Alexander said.
The team will take on the English Roses, South African Spar Proteas and the New Zealand Silver Ferns across the six-game series.
