Five VIS rowers have taken out the Head of the Yarra Open Women’s Eight as part of the Mercantile Rowing Club.
Kat Werry, Addy Dunkley-Smith, Olivia Sibillin, Amanda Bateman, and Jen Cleary all formed part of the successful Mercantile team that took out the title in 28:48.54 (min:sec.ms).
Defeating Melbourne University, University of Queensland Composite, Sydney University and Adelaide Uni, the team clinched the win only just ahead of second placed Melbourne University. The University of Queensland Composite rounded out the podium.
