Carroll claims crown

Jacinta Carroll has claimed the IWWF Waterski World Championship Women’s Jumps crown in stunning fashion at Choisy-le-Roi, Paris, France.

In a league of her own, the VIS scholarship holder leapt to her World Championship crown, landing 55.1m , 4.2m further than her closest competitor, American Jaquess Regina.

The World Championship win secures Carroll’s place as one of the top female waterski jumpers in Australia, following her fifth straight win at the US Masters earlier this year.

Over 160 waterskiers from more than 20 countries took to the water over the course of the week, striving to claim the World Championship title.
