Tough luck for Ruffels

Ryan Ruffels had a disappointing finish to his Canadian Open tournament finishing tied 32nd.

Only days prior, the youngest golfer at the tournament had put himself in a good position to make a career best finish, sitting 14 under and tied fifth following rounds of 67-67-68.

In a tough final round, Ruffels finished with a round of 76 and in a ten-way tie for 32nd, with the Canadian Open proving to be a steep learning curve for the 19 year old Australian golfer.
