Kookaburras go three for three

The Kookaburras have made it three-in-a-row at the World League Semi Finals, securing wins over France, Spain and New Zealand.

VIS athletes Aaron Kleinschmidt, Kiran Arunasalam, and Josh Pollard played across all three matches, with Pollard instrumental in the first Australian win of the tournament against France. Pollard managed to level the scores with less than ten minutes left in the match to pave the way for the Australians to take the win 3-2.

In their two subsequent pool matches against Spain and New Zealand, the Australians made late plays in both to secure wins in the dying minutes of each match.

The Australian side will now face up against Japan on Monday 17th at 8pm AEST in their final pool match of the tournament.
