Krizanic earns Trans Tasman Gold

The Australian Bowls team made a clean sweep in Broadbeach last week to take out the Trans-Tasman titles in every category of the test.

VIS scholarship holder, Carla Krizanic, was part of the Women’s Triple Team that took home the title with a narrow victory over the New Zealand side. With both teams holding nine points each, Australia just took the victory with +41 shots over their Ttasman rivals.

The final test was somewhat of a formality as the victory had already been decided the day prior, however, the Aussies performed with another clean sweep across the board in the second test.

The Australian side didn’t skip a beat, heading straight into the Commonwealth Games lead-in event, the Gold Coast multi-nations, which commenced on Saturday and will finish up on Wednesday.
