Smith dives for Gold

VIS athlete Anabelle Smith and diving partner Maddison Keeney have won gold in the 3m synchro at the Australian Open.

Despite a spirited challenge from Australian teammates, Esther Qin and Georgia Sheehan, Smith and Keeney took home the gold medal finishing with 318.51 points.

The event also doubled as an Australian team selection event for the World Aquatic Championships to be held in Budapest in August.

The VIS diver should be selected in the team following her gold medal win, alongside Maddison Keeney, with the duo shaping up as medal prospects for the World Championships.
