Five receive OUA Scholarships for 2017

The VIS Personal Excellence Program in association with partner Open Universities Australia are happy to announce the following winners to receive the OUA Scholarship for 2017.

  •          Ryan Gregson – Athletics – Bachelor of Business/Marketing
  •          Danielle Scott – Aerial Skiing  - Bachelor of Communications
  •          Anabelle Smith – Diving - Bachelor of Exercise and Health Science
  •          Oliver Tweddell – Sailing – Bachelor of Business
  •          Samantha Wells – Aerial Skiing-  Bachelor of Health Science/Health Promotion

Each scholarship winner will be awarded 1 unit of study at OUA free of charge commencing in Study Period 2, 2017.

OUA is Australia's leading provider of online higher education, providing access to over 2500 units and 160 courses from leading universities and other higher education providers around the country.

Four of the athletes are current and continuing OUA students – so a great reward for them and one other is a new applicant - studying already and utilising OUA to complete an elective unit online.

This is a wonderful opportunity for our athletes to continue with their dual careers whilst being Ambassadors for OUA in the lead into the upcoming Winter Olympics, Commonwealth Games and Summer Olympics in Tokyo.

The VIS would like to congratulate the athletes and thank OUA for their support.
