In-form VIS golfer, Brett Coletta, finished tied for second place in the NSW Open at Stonecutters Ridge Golf Club over the weekend.
Coletta’s attempt to break a 30 year old record (winning both the QLD and NSW Open in the same year) was almost realised on the final day of competition when he was 3-under at the end of the front nine and kept the birdies coming on the back nine. Unfortunately the leading amateur ran out of holes and finished tied for second with Jarryd Felton.
The exciting youngster fired rounds of 62, 72, 67 and 67 for a tournament total of 20-under, 268.
