The Australian Steelers wheelchair rugby team claimed back-to-back Paralympic gold medals with a double overtime 59-58 victory over the United States on Monday.
It was goal for goal in overtime and with 1.4 seconds to go, Australia drew level to force a second overtime.
In the second overtime, the Steelers managed to take the lead, edging a goal past their rivals to win 59-58, with Ryley Batt scoring the decisive point.
A huge defensive effort from the Aussies with 15 seconds to go in the second overtime ensured the US weren't able to equalise and the Steelers grabbed the gold.
