Holt wins silver in Rio

Teenage sprint sensation Isis Holt won the silver medal in the T35 100m for athletes with cerebral palsy.

On her Paralympic debut, the reigning world champion and world record holder, clocked 13.95 to deliver her silver medal, missing out on gold by an agonsising 0.09 seconds.

The 15-year-old almost took a tumble after the finish line, but bounced straight back up after finishing second behind China's Xia Zhou.

Holt will next contest the women's 4x100m relay on Friday, before she attempts to defend her world record in the 200m on Saturday.

Competing in the women’s T53 wheelchair 800m, Richard Colman placed 6th in his heat in 1:43.79 and will not progress to the final.
