Six swimmers selected for Rio

The Australian Paralympic Committee has named the 36 athletes who will make up the Australian Paralympic Swimming Team set to compete at the Rio Games in September, with six VIS athletes named in the team.

London 2012 Paralympians Tanya Huebner, Ahmed Kelly and gold medallist Matthew Haanappel will all compete at their second Paralympic Games in Rio, while 2015 IPC Swimming world champion Ashleigh McConnell will make her Paralympic debut alongside training partner, Monique Murphy and young-gun Emily Beecroft.
