Australia's women's water polo team has bowed out of Rio following an agonising penalty shoot-out loss to Hungary.
The Stingers dominated the first three quarters, but tired badly in the final period as Hungary levelled the match 8-8 late on.
Bronwen Knox was the unfortunate player to hit the post in a crucial miss as Hungary kept its nerve to win the shoot-out 5-3.
Ash Southern bagged three goals for Australia, while Rowie Webster and Glenchora McGhie scored two each.
