Alcott Crowned Open de France Champion

VIS athlete Dylan Alcott has been crowned the 2016 BNP Paribas Open de France quad champion.

World No. 1 Alcott made it back to back quad singles titles at the BNP Paribas Open de France as he met world no. 2 David Wagner of USA in the final for the third successive year.

A 5-2 lead gave Alcott the foundation for taking the opening set and the Australian reeled off four straight games to start the second set.

Wagner regained one of the breaks against him as he won successive games, but two games later Alcott came from 30-0 down to earn his first match point and put the seal on a 6-3 6-2 victory when converting his second match point after 69 minutes.
