Kookaburras take series lead 2-1 over Great Britain

The Kookaburras contested two matches of their three-game series against Great Britain in Western Australia over the weekend with VIS athletes Andrew Philpott and Chris Cirello competing.

 

After a 2-all draw in the first game, the Kookaburras secured a gripping 4-3 win against Great Britain in the second match thanks to a hat-trick from penalty corners from NSWIS athlete Blake Goivers.

 

The final game in the series will take place on Tuesday, 24 May at the Perth Hockey Stadium at 6.30pm AWST / 8.30pm AEST.
