VIS golfing prodigy Ryan Ruffels has decided to turn professional and head to the United States to try his luck on the PGA Tour.
The 17 year old will make his professional debut in the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines later this month and play again at the AT&T Pro-Am at Pebble Beach two weeks later.
Ruffels has already experienced success at his first stop on the PGA Tour this year, Torrey Pines, having won the Junior World Championship there two years ago, and as a two time Australian Junior Champion and runner-up at the 2015 Asia Pacific Amateur Championship in Hong Kong in October, he brings significant credentials to a much anticipated professional career.
