Accounting & Payroll Officer

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated individual to join the VIS Business team, as the Accounting & Payroll Officer in a full time role.

Reporting to the Business Manager, the Officer will be responsible for a range of accounting, payroll and administrative functions at the VIS incorporating all payroll aspects, accounts payable/receivable, motor vehicle fleet management, asset management and more!

The successful applicant will require tertiary qualifications in Accounting (or possibly another related business discipline), a minimum of five to eight years practical experience including accounting and payroll responsibilities and related experience in other aspects of the role. You will have a passion for and knowledge of sport, and a proven capacity to execute the responsibilities diligently and lead a small accounts payable team.

To complement experience,the successful applicant will also need to possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, sound organisational and planning skills and attention to detail and be an enthusiastic team player.

Remuneration for this role will be circa $75-80K per annum (including superannuation).
