The 2015 Tour of Bright was held over the weekend in very warm conditions and some of our young VIS riders continue to impress.
In-form 19 year old Lucas Hamilton finished on the podium in second place overall in the elite men’s A Grade general classification. Hamilton finished second on the gruelling Kilns Gaps Loop on Saturday and third on the final stage up Mt Hotham yesterday.
Alex Morgan finished third in the Men’s A Grade Individual Time Trial, with Alistair Donohoe and Angus Lyons placing 7th and 9th respectively.
The VIS Jayco/John West team also won the Teams Classification for the second time in the last three years.
In Women’s C Grade competition, VIS para-cyclist Hannah Macdougall finished third overall.
