Nicole Livingstone OAM is an inaugural VIS scholarship athlete and three-time Olympic swimmer. As one of the nation’s greatest backstrokers, she won multiple medals across Olympic and Commonwealth Games and Pan Pacific Championships.
After retiring in 1996, Nicole transitioned to a successful media career, hosting and commenting on major sporting events for Nine Network and Network Ten, whilst becoming a mother of three. In 2016, she was awarded the VIS Frank Pyke Achievement award for her distinguished achievements after her swimming career.
Nicole was at the helm of women’s football for six years as the AFL’s General Manager of Women’s Football, overseeing the growth of AFLW and women's participation in the sport.
She has held board positions with several prominent Australian sport organisations, including VIS Chair from 2016 to 2017. She now returns home as CEO with new ambitions to lead the organisation towards Brisbane 2032.
