VIS athlete Matt Lewis, put forward a career best performance at the Japan Para Wheelchair Rugby Championships in Tokyo last week.
Competing against Japan and USA, Matt Lewis was named best 3.5 in one of his best performances with the Australian Steelers to date.
Despite the success of Lewis, the Australian Steelers were only able to come away with one win in the tournament.
The Steelers managed to secure a 1-point win against the American side in their third match of the tournament before facing losses against Japan and the USA later in the competition.
The Steelers were knocked out of the tournament in the semi-final, with a loss to Japan 55-69.
