Although I have only been at the VIS for a short period of time, I can say that the environment is just so supportive. First off, everyone is so welcoming and makes you feel a part of a team. But also, they are so dedicated to try and make you the best version of yourself. That being physically and mentally. I love going to the facility.

Last year in 2025, lacrosse competed at the 2025 World Games in Chengdu, China. This was such an amazing tournament, and the Aussies came to play. With such a competitive tournament, we made our way to the bronze medal match. This was one of the toughest, most intense matches I have been in. It was neck and neck all game and we won in overtime against Japan. It was so exciting, so that has to be my favorite lacrosse memory.
