How does the VIS support your career in high performance sport?
The VIS, especially my Performance Lifestyle Adviser, Grace, has made balancing sport and school very achievable by allowing greater flexibility with my studies, such as adjusted deadlines when I've been training and competing overseas.
My Physical Preparation Coach, Cate, has always communicated my programs extremely well when I've been training rurally and at a gym by myself.
Go-to meal before competing?
Pasta, probably spag bol.
If you could have dinner with any three people, who would they be?
David Attenborough, Eileen Gu and Adam Sandler.
What do you enjoy doing outside of sport?
Going to the river, travelling, being with my friends, and eating frozen yoghurt.
What was the turning point in your career that made you want to pursue this at a high performance level?
I grew up skiing with Hotham Freeski and doing gymnastics with Flyaway Gymnastics from a young age. I left gymnastics after competing at level 10 and started skiing more competitively. From there, one of my ski coaches, Millie, put me onto aerial skiing. Once I tried aerials I really loved the sport and community. This passion grew especially when water ramping in Brisbane and jumping on snow.
