How does the VIS support your career in high performance sport?
The VIS is my home away from home.
Most memorable sporting moment?
My most memorable moment in sport was crossing the finish line of the medal race at the French Olympic Week regatta and securing the bronze medal. Having my parents on FaceTime from the coach boat to celebrate made the moment even more special.
Proudest personal achievement outside of sport?
Celebrating 10 years of service at Greencross Vets in 2026.
What do you enjoy most about your sport?
I love that no two days or even hours are the same. Sailing is an environmental sport where conditions are constantly changing, and it’s up to me as the sailor to read, adapt, and ultimately conquer the conditions.
Advice to your younger self?
If I could give my younger self advice in sport, it would be to enjoy and embrace every moment of the journey. It starts with small moments, and by celebrating each one, they eventually build into something truly special and successful.
Go-to meal before competing?
Go to meal - every day I kick start my morning with my bowl of greek yoghurt, muesli, berries and of course a coffee. I'm not joking about the everyday part!
If you could have dinner with any three people, who would they be?
Roger Federer, Ash Barty and Trent Cotchin
What do you enjoy doing outside of sport?
Outside of sport, I enjoy going for rides on my road bike and spending time catching up with friends and family over coffee. I’ve recently taken up golf, and when I’m not sailing, I love giving back to the younger generation through coaching.
