Last Saturday, Victorian Institute of Sport (VIS) curler Dean Hewitt and partner Tahli Gill took to the ice in Fredericton, Canada, for the Mixed Team Curling World Championships.
The VIS joins the Australian Winter Olympic Team and the country’s winter sports community in celebrating one year until Australia takes on the world at the 2026 Milano Cortina Olympic Winter Games in Italy.
In VIS Sport, Vixens return to the winners list with Liz Watson winning the inaugural Edith Hull Medal. Meanwhile the Aussie Trap Women were on target winning gold at the ISSF Shotgun World Cup in Lonato, Italy.
