Burras on Track to Challenge Title at the FIH Hockey Men’s Junior World Cup
A 20-player Burras (Australian Under 21 Mens Hockey) team brimming with talent has been selected for the FIH Hockey Mens Junior World Cup 2023 being held in Kuala Lumpur from 5-16 December. Four VIS athletes are named in the team with VIS hockey coach leading the side.

When Elissa Kent was pregnant with her first child she was the Melbourne Kestrels’ midcourt specialist. Even though it was the end of her playing career it was just the beginning of a new one. Now a mum of four she juggles life as the VIS Development Coach and is also part of the AIS Gen32 Coach Program.
Surf Life Saving to Triathlon | Zoe Clarke’s Transition
The Victorian Institute of Sport and Triathlon Australia’s High Performance Program are looking for talented athletes for the sport of Triathlon* to work towards achieving medal outcomes at the 2028 and 2032 Olympic Games. VIS scholarship athlete, Zoe Clarke, transitioned into triathlon from Surf Life Saving.
