After recently graduating from the Victorian Institute of Sport Future Talent program into the Individual Scholarship program, Aoife Coughlan proved she could match it with Judo’s best, placing 5th at the International Judo Federation World Masters.

Clean sweep for record breaker Alessia McCaig
Victorian Institute of Sport scholarship holder Alessia McCaig’s domination of the Under-19 Track National Championships has ended with a clean sweep of the gold medals.
Female sports stars take away top awards
On Wednesday evening the Victorian Institute of Sport (VIS) concluded its 2020 Awards celebration online. The event ran over three days with a different award presented each evening. This was the first time that the institute invited a public audience to follow the awards presentation recognising the outstanding achievements by VIS supported athletes.
