Dean Hewitt, alongside his teammate, Tahli Gill, made history by becoming Australia’s first curling team to qualify for the Olympic Winter Games in 2022.

For the 2026-2027 season, Dean is currently ranked number one in the world in the World Curling Team Rankings for mixed doubles and recently won gold at the 2026 World Mixed Curling Championships.

Off the ice, he applies his expertise as an Exercise Physiologist, focusing on corporate and cardiac health.

Dean has a passion for sharing his experience as a curler and in life to inspire others to stay active throughout life and pursue their dreams, particularly in the face of adversity.
