Sports Physiotherapy

The VIS Sports Physiotherapy team works to optimise athlete performance and minimise setbacks by focusing on injury prevention, acute injury care and rehabilitation.

Through close collaboration with athletes, coaches and other VIS athlete performance support staff, sports physiotherapy keeps athletes on track to perform at their best.

Incorporating preventative measures through targeted clinical exercises, advanced neuromuscular movement training and comprehensive athlete monitoring systems.

Deliver expert emergency care when injuries occur, with rapid diagnosis, evidence-based treatment and comprehensive management to minimise downtime.

Providing tailored rehabilitation programs and progressive return-to-sport guidance, ensuring athletes return to competition stronger and safer.

Adopting an interdisciplinary approach by working collaboratively with athletes, coaches and support staff.
