Applications open for Sport Integrity Manager at the VIS

By Victorian Institute of Sport

October 19, 2026

The Victorian Institute of Sport (VIS) is recruiting a Sport Integrity Manager to embed fair, safe and inclusive practice across the organisation, working alongside athletes, coaches and staff every day.

The position will be employed by Sport Integrity Australia (SIA) and seconded to the VIS, reporting to Chief Executive Officer Nicole Livingstone AO OLY. It brings national integrity expertise directly into the Institute and works closely with SIA to develop, educate on and embed integrity policies, procedures and practices at every level of the VIS.

SIA works to protect fairness, safety, trust and integrity in sport. By tackling issues such as doping, match-fixing and abuse, the organisation helps people at every level of sport, from grassroots to elite, participate and compete with confidence.

The Sport Integrity Manager will lead and coordinate the VIS sport integrity function, including policy development, implementation and continuous improvement of the National Integrity Framework or Sport Integrity Standards. The role will embed integrity, safeguarding and child-safe practice across all areas of the VIS, and will oversee and deliver complaints management processes while advising on integrity-related matters.

The Sport Integrity Manager will also deliver education and capability-building programs that strengthen integrity awareness and compliance, and provide strategic advice on emerging integrity issues, risks and opportunities. As a contributor to the VIS Executive team, the role will apply an integrity lens to feedback on organisational policies and operations, and will build relationships with Sport Integrity Australia, sporting organisations and high performance sport partners, including other state institutes and academies of sport.

How to apply

Applicants should demonstrate highly developed stakeholder engagement skills, well-developed oral and written communication skills, including the ability to develop and deliver workshops and forums, and proven strategic thinking. The role requires the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and influence and drive change. Experience in sport integrity initiatives and processes, including complaint and reporting mechanisms, is desirable.

Applications close Sunday 1 November 2026.
