My VIS support team helped me build structure and discipline into my training. I had little education on elite level training prior to working with the VIS and often overtrain because I thought that was what athletes were supposed to do. I learnt a lot about recovery and timing of training with the VIS and have become a much healthier and stronger athlete because of it.

Calling my parents after my first international competition win and us all crying over the phone because we were so excited.

Completing my Bachelors of Exercise Science and my Masters of Physiotherapy.

How freeing it is. When I snowboard I don't think about anything else, I am fully present in the moment feeling the board carve under me and the cold air on my skin. Any worries or thoughts I have just disappear and it is just me and the board.

Trust yourself and never forget that you started the sporting journey because you love it. Sport is and always should be fun, results will come and go but having fun should be a constant.

I don't have a go-to meal but I always start the day with a tea and a hot chocolate!

I love animals! Getting to hang out with my dogs always makes me so happy and relaxed. Anything animal related and I am in. Also love watching movies - nothing can beat being cuddled on the couch with my dogs and a good movie!
