Milano Cortina 2026

The 2026 Winter Olympics and Paralympics are being held across Northern Italy, centred in the iconic city of Milano and the ‘Queen of the Dolomites’, Cortina d’Ampezzo.

The biggest international winter multi-sport event in the world will be played out on an unmistakably picturesque stage.

The VIS Milano Cortina 2026 page is your home for all VIS scholarship athletes named on the Australian Olympic and Paralympic team, with Milano Cortina related content and resources.

 

  • The Winter Olympic Games have run from 6 – 22 February.
  • The Winter Paralympic Games will run from 6 – 15 March.

BRING THE MILANO CORTINA MAGIC TO THE CLASSROOM

As part of the VIS Be Fit. Be Well program, supported by School Sport Victoria, teachers can bring the Winter Games to the classroom!  Dive into the stories of two inspirational VIS athletes with an interactive classroom workbook.

Included are videos from aerial skiers and Olympic debutants, Abbey Willcox and Airleigh Frigo, plus activities to engage your students with sport, health and the biggest international winter multi-sport event in the world.
