Dylan Alcott

After suffering a heartbreaking quad doubles defeat overnight, Dylan Alcott will be looking to bounce back today and defend his singles Paralympic title.

Dutch world no. 2 Sam Schroder stands in the way of the Australian claiming back-to-back singles gold medals in today's decider at Ariake Tennis Park, and hence, is Alcott’s next hurdle in the continued narrative of the ‘golden slam’.

Jaryd Clifford

Jaryd Clifford will close out the Paralympic Games for our Victorian Institute of Sport scholarship holders in the T12 Marathon. Having already won a silver medal in the men's 5000m event and a bronze in the men's 1500m event, there is only one colour missing from his collection - gold. Recently Clifford "accidentally" broke the world record in a marathon in Sydney, so anything could happen when he takes the start line on Sunday morning.
