Physiotherapist - Melbourne Vixens


The Victorian Institute of Sport (VIS) and Netball Victoria work in partnership to deliver the Melbourne Vixens netball program, including their participation in the Suncorp Super Netball League.

The two organisations work to deliver the pre-eminent elite, high performance netball program in Victoria, and through our lived motto of “Success in Sport and Life” we provide an environment in which talented athletes have the opportunity to excel in all aspects of their high performance sporting pursuits.

We have a role available for an experienced, highly professional Physiotherapist to join our performance services team on a full-time basis.

Reporting to the VIS Lead Physiotherapist, the successful applicant will provide proactive physiotherapy services to Melbourne Vixens athletes at a range of locations, but primarily between the State Netball Hockey Centre in Parkville and the Victorian Institute of Sport in Albert Park. They will work within an inter-disciplinary performance support team, leveraging their expertise to maximise performance, prevent athlete unavailability and effectively manage injury when necessary.

Interstate travel will form a necessary component of this role throughout the year, as we are seeking to employ a person who is prepared to fully embed and integrate their role within the Melbourne Vixens program.
