Doughty's trifecta season start

Monday, 15 May 2017

Kate Doughty has made a stunning start to her World Triathlon Series campaign, taking home the gold for the third consecutive time in Yokohama, Japan over the weekend.

The VIS paratriathlete confidently won the race, with her nearest competitor France’s Gwladys Lemoussu finishing over 2 minutes behind her.

Last month Doughty took home gold in the first event of the series on the Gold Coast. Following her dominant victory in Yokohama, Doughty has her sights firmly set on the World Championships to be held in Rotterdam in September.
